Last checked: 10 October 2026. Fashion and jewellery birthday discounts in the UK can be worth having, with 25% off at Nike and H&M and up to 25% at ASOS. But the headline percentage is only half the story. Some need a loyalty tier you earn by spending, some only cover one item, and most exclude sale stock. Here’s what each brand actually gives you and how to qualify, so you can plan a birthday buy you actually wanted.

Birthday discounts with no minimum spend
1. Does Nike give a birthday discount in the UK?
Yes: 25% off. The Nike birthday promo terms say you need to have joined as a Nike Member at least 10 days before your birthday and opted in to emails or registered on the Nike App. Selected members get a message, and the discount is applied at checkout for 30 days from that message.
The exclusions matter. Markdown products, SNKRS releases, Member Products (Reserved for You, First Access), Apple products, Nike By You, Jersey By You and gift cards are all excluded, as are orders over about £1,000 before the discount. So it’s 25% off full-price Nike, not 25% off everything.
2. Does H&M give a birthday discount?
Yes. H&M membership is free, and members get 25% off one favourite item for their birthday. It’s one item, so use it on the most expensive thing you were planning to buy. Check the validity and exclusions on the offer in your account before you shop.
Birthday discounts that depend on your loyalty tier
3. What is the ASOS birthday discount?
Through ASOS.WORLD, the free Stylist tier and the Curator and Icon tiers get 20% off, and the A-Lister tier gets 25%. The tiers depend on what you spend in 12 months, after returns: Curator £100+, Icon £350+ and A-Lister £750+. Since January 2026, your returns rate also has to be under 70%.
Timing: add your date of birth at least 24 hours before your birthday. ASOS prepares the code 16 days before and emails it to you. If you move tier in those 16 days, you still get your old tier’s discount. I wouldn’t chase A-Lister for an extra 5%.
4. Does Pandora give a birthday discount?
Yes, but not on a basic account. Under the My Pandora terms, Silver members get 10% and Gold members 15%. You reach Silver by adding your birthday to your profile and making one purchase of any value after joining. Gold needs over £200 of spending in 12 months, after returns.
The treat appears in your account on your birthday and lasts 30 days, in store or online. It can’t be used on gift cards, gift sets, care kits, jewellery boxes, Lab-grown Diamonds, Talisman, Minis or Bridgerton items, and can’t be combined with other discounts. If you’re buying a charm for yourself or a gift anyway, it’s worth timing it for your birthday month.
5. Swarovski birthday voucher
Swarovski Club lists a birthday voucher for all its tiers: “share your birthday with us to receive a surprise on your special day”. Swarovski doesn’t publish the value, so check the email. Its voucher rules say discount codes only work on full-price items, can be used once and can’t be combined with other discounts.
Birthday discounts by email invitation
6. New Look birthday treat
New Look sends an email-only birthday discount for full-price New Look items in one online order, with the expiry date in the email. Third-party brands and sale items are excluded. The terms don’t promise one fixed percentage, so I haven’t put a number on it.
7. schuh birthday discount
schuh runs birthday offers by invitation. To be invited, add your birthday and opt in to schuh emails at least 8 days before. The single-use code covers selected full-price products, and the value and dates are in your email.
Birthday discounts I couldn’t confirm
Other lists mention birthday offers from Oliver Bonas, Hobbs and Timberland. I couldn’t find them on the brands’ own UK pages on 10 October 2026, so they’re not in my table. If you’re on their mailing lists, look out for an email in your birthday month.
How to use a birthday discount without overspending
- Keep a birthday wish list. Note things you want through the year, then use the code on one of those, not on whatever the email shows you.
- Remember 25% off still means paying 75%. If you wouldn’t buy it at 75% of the price, skip it.
- Check exclusions before you fill your basket. Sale items, new releases and gift cards are the usual ones.
- Don’t assume codes stack. Nike, Pandora and ASOS birthday codes generally can’t be combined with other discounts.
- Use cashback where it’s allowed. A cashback site may still pay out on top of a birthday code. My guide to UK cashback sites explains how to check whether it will track.

As of October 2026: Nike (25%), H&M (25% off one item), ASOS (20% to 25%), Pandora (10% to 15% for Silver and Gold), Swarovski (a birthday voucher), New Look and schuh (email offers).
How early should I add my birthday?
At least 10 days before for Nike, 8 days for schuh, and 24 hours for ASOS. Adding it a month ahead covers them all.
Can I use a birthday discount on sale items?
Usually not. Nike, Swarovski, New Look and schuh limit birthday codes to full-price items.
